gathered together at SBA's 2025 Clinical Care Meeting hosted alongside UAB / Children's of Alabama to to improve care for individuals with Spina Bifida

I’ve been involved with the Spina Bifida Association since 2017. Since then, SBA has connected me with lifelong friends who feel like family, and working with the organization has allowed me to see its impact up close.

One of the projects I’ve been most passionate about is working to build a groundbreaking, searchable online database of healthcare providers who treat adults with Spina Bifida. This initiative is critical—because so few providers currently offer adult care, this resource will quite literally save lives.

As an adult with Spina Bifida myself, this work is deeply personal, and I’m truly honored to partner and contribute to efforts that make such a meaningful, lasting impact for so many that I love.
